I started this blog to discuss the low carb lifestyle. There are many who may think “low carbing” is simply a fad. However, those who have been paying attention to the latest health news likely are cutting back on sugar and white food (bread, pasta, starch), and focusing more on fresh, organic veggies, fruits, meats and increasing your consumption of “whole foods”. This blog is for anyone who is interested in reaping the benefits by lowering your carb intake, but not your standards.
I am passionate about cooking and health. I published “Full Flavored Low Carb Favorites” with the assistance of my husband (and his critical palette), sister (Culinary Institute Graduate), friends and family.
On a personal note, my family and I have reaped the rewards of the low carb lifestyle for years now without feeling deprived of our favorites. I’ve enjoyed experimenting with recipes that I served at holiday parties and special occasions, which are known to be diet killers.
